Aimee Blackschleger is an Italian-born, American singer/songwriter and session recording artist living in Japan. Besides TV commercial songs and performing as a back-up singer for various Japanese pop and rock stars, most recently for The Vamps, she has been involved in many video game and anime projects.

In the world of video games, Aimee’s voice has been featured on songs for games like “Beatmania“, “Final Fantasy XIII-2“, “Guitar Freaks and Drummania“, and “Pro Evolution Soccer“.

Not limiting herself to the video game scene, Aimee’s voice can also be heard in some of the most popular recent anime of the last few years. From the ending theme of the the anime “Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt“, “Fallen Angel” to recent themes like “D.O.A” from “Attack on Titan”, among many others, her style and strong vocal presence is recognizable.

As well, Aimee recently released her own CD of self-written original material, called “Kryptonite” and is also a member of a 4 woman harp-based pop/soul ensemble.

About Apryl Peredo

Apryl Peredo is an artist manager residing in Tokyo. Starting her music career in Memphis TN, with an internship at major label EMI and boutique events for the likes of Ringo Starr, Rod Stewart, she then moved to Dallas TX, where she spent five years as a coordinator for FRYE STREET FAIRE, a music/art fair with attendance of over 10,000 and two years as assistant organizer for THE DALLAS OBSERVER AWARDS SHOW, which was a large scale annual event with music performances, speakers, and award presentations for the “best of Dallas” categories.

Currently she works in development and management for artists ranging from new and unsigned to major label. She also edits and co-writes English language lyrics for a variety of Japanese music projects, and does voice over work.

In 2016, she was invited to be an official speaker at SXSW Conference, and has spoken about Japanese music and industry at events in the US, Japan, and New Zealand. She is also the co-host of the internet radio program WHETHER BREAK which showcases music be unsigned and small label Japanese artists. The show has media promotion mainly in Tokyo and Los Angeles, but can be listened to anywhere in the world.

Apryl will be also attending the mu:con 2016, a music conference in Seoul, as a special guest.
